Aeroflight LIVE was created by virtual performers, for virtual performers. With that in-mind, we created an organization that is focused on the best skill, quality, and performance that can be provided in virtual air shows. We're looking for established solos and teams. No need to apply for every show. One application is all that is needed as long as nothing significant changes with your team! Our events are invitation-only. We have a unique application that helps us know more about your team before we work together. Call it Quality Control if you want! By applying and being accepted, your team will be invited to perform in our virtual air shows, broadcast on our channel for team exclusive streams, and more! Our channel becomes your channel!
REACH A WIDER AUDIENCE
Let us do some of the marketing! Not only will we promote our streams, events, and brand, but we will promote our performers most of all. Our performers will have the same exposure as our overall organization. Yes, we'll brag about having you with us because after all, we're excited to have you!

We performers spend a lot of time honing our skills, creating a product, and protecting what we've put so much time in to. People will recognize your team as the best version of itself.
PERFORMER INFORMATION
Our application system is unique. It provides us with the basics to review each performer to determine if they meet our expectations of effort, quality, and skill. Before applying, each performer should review the information on this page and be intimately familiar with our Flight Regulations!
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS
Once an application is submitted by a solo or team, AeroFlight LIVE's staff will review it. Complete and accurate applications are important as some of the details we request are for media and marketing purposes.

High Quality is a must! We want to bring the best quality and represent our virtual aerobatic community well, so be sure to find your nicest, prettiest graphics to represent your team. We do take your graphics into account. Take a look around this website for inspiration!
Staff will view your submitted video and determine if your live performance product fits our expectations. Some of what the staff will be looking for are as follows:

Once the review process is completed, staff will reach out to the email provided in the application informing of acceptance or denial. Denied applicants may re-submit after improving suggested elements by staff.

Accepted performers will be listed internally by staff and our website will be updated to reflect performer affiliation. When a virtual air show or stream event is planned, staff will review performers to extend invitations to. This may include a query amongst performers for availability. Performers will have the details of what type of event and when it is scheduled to be and can determine whether they want to participate. Invitations will then be extended to the performers AFL is interested in having at that event. Acceptance of invitation means commitment to the event and any last-minute cancellations may result in removal from AeroFlight LIVE Performers.
FLIGHT REGULATIONS
These regulations apply to all performers in AeroFlight LIVE virtual air shows and Performer Applications. Strict adherence to these regulations is required unless a written waiver is obtained from AeroFlight LIVE staff. Applications are evaluated based on adherence to these standards and apply to previous performance videos that are used in the application process. If a regulation must be waived during the application process, it must be noted on the application.

All maneuvers and repositions must be inside the display airspace which extends 5NM (9.3 km) radius from show center and up to 15,000 ft (4,572 m)

All aerobatic maneuvers must be performed inside the aerobatic box (U.S. FAA dimensions)

Flight must remain at least 500 ft (153 m) laterally and minimum 100 ft (31 m) altitude​ from the crowd at all times
-
​No aerobatic energy may be directed at the crowd area
-
The aerobatic box may not be empty for more than 1 minute without visibility of the flight
-
Ground Performance should not exceed 20% of the total display length

Flight Duration (wheels up to wheels down) should not exceed:

Solo - 18 minutes​

2-ship - 26 minutes

3+ ship - 45 minutes

STATUS CHANGES
AeroFlight LIVE staff should be notified whenever a performer enters one of the following conditions which would change the overall dynamic of the team. In many cases, staff must revoke a performer from AFL until a new application is submitted, so staff can review that the conditions have not affected the performer adversely for AFL streams and events. Re-application would be subject to the request of staff only and should not automatically be done by performers.

Team goes inactive (no flights or practices for more than 3 months)

Team Leadership changes (new flight leader or team leader takes over)

Changes in production that dramatically alter the way the performance is viewed

Module changes or Flight Model changes that are significant

Any other issue that renders the most previously submitted application inaccurate to represent the performer
